An interesting vote that demands testing.
I would like to host a testing battle night when so of our persnickty machine/connections can join.
Earlier I tested 18 ship battles and it was,.. um,.. disaster ! I am curious how 12 goes?
A new vote will go up,... what game speed do we do,... and how does that change the game ?
In our battles,.. well they are rare when each of us gets to command a fleet,.. do we need to rush it out at speed 7. Within a half hour my battle is done usually.
I have heard of other campaigns in which the speed had to be slowed to 4 for major crazy battles,... How does game speed change the number of ships allowed and drop rates ?
When can the following players make it? Postman Morty Mav or Blade (only cause you have high pings, but no,. you never crashed in a game)

other things to consider for this. Spyware, Firewalls, Router Firewalls, Anti-virus systems.
They all "check" packets, which takes a split second as well, therefore adding to the latency issues.

I wonder what Postman has running in the background as he drops out the most. Some folks would be surprised by what is churning away unknown. He seems pretty compitant computerwise though. Just hoping it is something other than his DSL connection that appears to be the issue.
Post you might want to try taking one of those PC's I have as a lender and see what it runs like in a test. I do not put any AV or well anything on my gaming machines. If it ran no better than for sure it is the DSL connection. Have you had the company come out and test it? Alot of times there are old wires running to the house and by complaining they may replace them ??

Nope but they hold nothing of value and I do no monetary transactions or such from them. They are strictly gaming machines. Other machines in the house are for that and they are locked down to the max.

We should gather the crew for testing and see if 6 ships stacks could be possible,.. imagine 12 ship battles!

again it depends GREATLY on the races allowed, and then the era.
