So wanting to spice up the in between turn dole drums, I thought about sponsoring a fun scenario battle. Something I wanted to do when my Internet died last weekend.
My question before I put time into the write ups and working with players,... is this worth my time,.. and something the crew would enjoy.
After reading the set up below sign up and this will decide if we should proceed forward.
Back in the day,.. way back,... this is how we had fun with SFB/C

What I want to do is set up a preset side of,.. orders of battle for each team with some intrigue and unexpected things (a nice write up providing set and setting for all players). Each side will be given the battle rooster and do the best you can. It is my hope to see a fun battle with ships not normally used (maybe a Fed CLE's etc) representing a more realistic battle night for all players. There is no shame in flying a Fed Cl,. you do the best you can with what you got. Odds are,.. depending on interest,.. fleets will be large so each player may have several ships.
I would like to nominate Warp and Dfly to lead each side as Admirals,.. (provided they accept the challenge and sign up). Others will wing into the team by signing up below with back ups if they cannot make the designated combat night. The battle will be flown on "a" Sunday night when there are no or little campaign battles sometime in the weeks before us. This will give me time to set up a fun situation/scenario for the players.
I thought this could be a fun lead up to the upcoming Fed/Rom/Klink campaign. The carrier fleets will be Fed vs Klink. Odds are I will work with Dfly and/or Warp to help create balanced fleets with surprises for even them,.. should they help create the scenario.
So my ? is are players interested,.. should I proceed forward with the write ups and reviews by higher level players?
