I have reasoned that the southern portion of the universe was most influenced by the Vorlon. That iswhy the E.A. and the Mimbari were more interested in economics and sought stability and peace rather than war. The Earth Alliance is proud to fly alongside Kosh in the final battle. Long live the Vorlon!! Long live the E.A. Long live the Mimbari

Yeah, just like the reason that Luxembourg is more peaceful than Lebanon is the cooler climate. Nothing to do with the neighborhood, so to speak.

As a ref I am still wondering if the level of player in fighting was to little, or just right.
I think that my attempts to create distrust and sow seeds of worry,.. was effective. I tried to sorta set the ideal that the Shadows wanted much infighting as to cull the weakest races.
I guess if there was much more infighting players would be left with even less to defend capitals and launch and attack at ZHD so maybe the amount is correct as it is close right now.
Alrighty, you want to know who was the Shadow ally,...
There was none, it was another attempt by the ref, through rumor and such to sow the seeds of war.
Only one player offered to join the Shadows very late in the game, and his offer was rebuffed as it was not built into the game so I could not really do that even if I wanted to. It will be up to that player to reveal his offer if he chooses.

No background in that,.. but after twenty years of running campaigns starting with SFB campaigns in the late 80's, it is the players who have taught me such tactics !!

Ya I know, I think our first SFB campaign was around 1983 ish, right around when I was getting out of high school.
Ah those were the days when we had time to spend like 8 hours doing a single battle !!
Thank god for SFC !!!

Well after that long a run I am due my retirement !!! Lets hope I don't suck as a player. In all my days I think I have played in like 2 campaigns,.. Attributes:-Lets see though I have learned to kiss the refs ass,... -Earned the scorn of many players for tough calls, target on forehead -Can't fly my way outta a paper bag, unless in command of a ridiculous Shadow ship -Have years of negotiation skills earned by playing in many a campaign All right next chapter we will examine my weaknesses ;D

More like Kuwait, with Narn/Centauri as Iraq, Shalafi as Iran, Blade as Israel, Stargazer as Syria, D'Fly as Saudi Arabia, Mimbari as Japan, and EA as UK.
You get the picture ...
