I just wanted it off the main B5 thread and will have many posts here myself.
First one,.. Postman,.. do you play on the D2 servers,.. I never saw you on the few I played on ?
Besides Dfly and Warp and Postman,.... who else in the crew has tried a dynaverse server ??

Hey Postman and all else:
Been thinking, we want to put Carnivon into our games. Have Y1 SSD's and later Tournament cruiser as basis but their special weapons present a minor problem. Their Disruptor Cannons are basically Heavy Disruptors, their Death Bolts are Type IV drones slightly modified, but their Infamous Heel Nipper (Warp Field Interrupt Device) is so integral and I think I figured out a way it could be placed into a campaign of my own. Anyone know anyone who knows how to change a weapon? The closest I could find was the Plasma-E which as I understand it does damage and SLOWS the target. What I need is something that does not do much damage (actually none except to warp engines but I could live without it if impossibly hard), has short range, not automatically hitting, and SLOWS the target down a hell of a lot more...ie, Heel Nipper (without the forced turn to the right/ left). If anyone knows how this could be done or by whom I can provide all the Y1 (The Early Years) official ADB stats. This would be killer as it fits Carnivon to a T.

don't know exactly but it seems the plas E slows a ship based on it's size

Gee, I go to bed early on Sat because I have a Funeral detail early today followed by an officers meeting at 14:00 and I finally get home and find the thread locked with NOTHING pointing to this one. Shame on somebody. Anyway, the 3 andro weapons are listed here: www.dynaverse.net/forum/index.php/topic,163360816.0.html I spent most of the summer of 2003 on the D2 because a, sharing broadband with next door neighbor through his wireless router(my old house) B. I had a broken leg and was out of work for 7 months C. I played mostly on ToastyO's server but did sample most of them. |
