As Barry was asking if my automated map could help him design his future campaign, I went ahead and added a 'map edit' mode to the map. So go ahead and check it out: aambrois.homeip.net/sfcc/spacecontrol.php click on "edit map" near the top. You'll see some ships and stuff, don't bother clicking on them as that's not finished. If you need another map size, let me know and I'll add something to change it. Cheers. Forgot to say: Log in with email: test password: test

I still dont have some of the images like the planets and wormholes. If you guys have any suggestions.... Please take into account I only have a 128 Kb upload connection and its a big map, so you'll have to be patient. Also, I apologize for the ugliness, but I'm leaving the fancy UI for last .

The idea is to do all the design on that map. I guess some magic could be done and have it spit out a big ass jpeg image, but it will be difficult. I have no idea of how that page would print out from the browser. Try setting the zoom to 25% and printing it....

Windows picture and fax viewer.
Use that program. Just need to get the map saved as a picture, and open it with that program. It prints a very clear picture of a map. dont know if it will for this one, as I have not tested it.

I can use my print facilities at my college to make a master map and ship it, provided someone pays the cost. Shipping mostly. I think my limit is 18x11 at my current employment so make a long map )))

sheesh, I was just now going to post about it . Yea, now you can edit the map and have it spit out a GIF image of the whole map with hexes, terrain and coordinates. Which is much lighter than the HTML page I had previously. Hope it helps. Now, I remember something about a test I had on Saturday....
