Ya no one should be shifting ships around. After all the last time I recall that happening was in the B5 game SHALAFI when somehow YOU ended up with a Minbari Dark Star !!!!

Bought, shift, trade, steal,... the semantics of humans. None the less a ship traded hands.
Stock price as I recall,..
What price is fair,.. Can Dfly buy Romans DNL for 50% to fly in battle against me,.. how about 10% What about a payment plan over 20 turns?
You know how it goes,... the slippery slope of rules and intent, etc

oh of course... it's one of those things that's not outside the realm of a player doing it it's just the ref HAS to keep a VERY close eye on the circumstances and intent and has to be willing to step in and go NO you can't do that.
it's called the unwritten rule.... the ref has the power cord in his/her hand and can pull it out of the wall if need be....

Ya agreed there are times for a ref to step in no matter how distatefull it is.
But your purchase of that ship was under my radar until it began to change hands.
It is just a slippery slope hopefully how every they work out in the future will be with honorable intent by the players. So far we have done really well and over all this group is pretty cool that way.
Ears up to you all.
